“Sanju” reinvigorates Munna Bhai’s ‘shady’ past!

The 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case that had haunted Sanjay Dutt for over two decades was resolved after this stain had been wiped off post his five-year imprisonment in Yerwada jail. But the biopic on his life – “Sanju” – many thinks will once again bring the dark memories from the past to the fore.

Rode a wave of success with his blockbusters like Munnabhai franchises, Khalnayak, Saajan and many more, the biopic ‘Sanju’ – to be released on June 29 this year, will definitely trigger uproar  when the people –particularly the gen-x, will watch him getting arrested in 1994 from the Mumbai airport. The new net-savvy generation – those born after 1993 will definitely tweet and troll on his shady past.

 

Story-spinner Rajkumar Hirani may be waiting with his fingers crossed expecting humongous response and actor Ranbir Kapoor on cloud nine over the positive inputs by critics on his immaculate performance after its tease launch; they may be conveniently overlooking this angle that may play spoilsport or act as an irritant marring the promotional hype and hoopla that is being worked-out to make it a mega success cinematic venture.  

 

“Sanju” teaser drew humoungous response

 

“Sanju” – Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is a biopic on the life of a seasoned actor Sanjay Dutt. It portrays his roller-coaster ride to supr-stardom. The teaser released on April 24 promises to burn silver screen with the outstanding performance of the debonair Ranbir Kapoor. Resembling freakishly as Sanju Baba, Ranbir plays his innings well in the movie. It promises a lot more. "Sanju" is slated to release on June 29, till then wait with bated breath. It's literally the first time in the history of Indian cinema that a biopic has been made on the life of a living actor.

Despite ‘shady-past’, Sanjay Dutt still remains the darling of movie-lovers!
